- A Befriender service for parents who are experiencing difficulties with schools
- Computer club for children from the age of 8 years old
- Dyslexia related conferences and events
- A library service of dyslexia related books
- As the local group we are affiliated of the British Dyslexia Association (BDA).
- BDA is the national voice of dyslexic people and their main aims are:Lobbying for changes in the education system at government level
- Encouraging better awareness of dyslexia in Teacher Training programmes
- Securing better support for students at university
- Providing support and training for local Dyslexia Associations
- Offering training to teachers and teaching assistants throughout the country.
